Do You Think A Visit To The Veterinarian Is All About “Shots?

Vaccinations provide important protection for your pet. But, in addition to the vaccines that control viruses and bacterial diseases, your annual visit and examination assures early detection of other illnesses that can be even more important in extending your pet's life span.

Some of the more common treatable chronic diseases include:
     • Kidney Disease
     • Heart Disease
     • Endocrine (glandular) Imbalances
     • Skin Conditions
     • Liver Disease
     • Dental Disease
     • Immune Conditions
     • Eye Abnormalities
     • Diabetes (sugar imbalance)
     • Arthritis (joint disease)
     • Weight and Nutritional Problems

Only a physical exam by a veterinarian and diagnostic testing can identify these conditions at the early stages when cure or reversal is most successful. If you wait for obvious signs, it may be too late.
